* Math - we are finishing our first unit and worked on a Check your Understanding page today on exponents, and order of operations.  We will be having our unit test on Thursday September 25th.

* Language Arts - we are working on expressing our opinions appropriately.  Students are working on creating a Rant. Today we watched some Rick Mercer rants and began to write our opinion on topics that students/peers can relate to.

* History - we are continuing to look at the development of New France (grade 7) and the 6 Reasons for Confederation (grade 8).

* REMINDERS:

 1. Students are reminded to bring in his/her $5 and form for the spaghetti lunch being offered by Quinte S.S. on Thursday September 25th.

2. Students are reminded to bring a $2 donation for the Terry Fox Run on Wednesday September 24th.
